Hello! I was born and raised in Twin Falls, Idaho, and moved to Tucson in 2023. I got my undergrad degree in Psychology at the College of Southern Idaho and Idaho State University. I moved on to my graduate degree at Liberty University, where I received my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have always been a ‘helper’ and have found my place in counseling. I have 6 years of experience working in Anxiety, Depression, Relationship Struggles, Anger Management, and Behavioral Management. I see clients ages 8 and up.
At Exhale Counseling, we care about you. Counseling isn’t just a job, it’s a passion. A passion for making sure each person feels understood, valued, and cared for. It is our mission to meet you where you are and to create a space where you feel comfortable letting go of all you’ve been holding on to. We are committed to providing quality, personalized care to each client and helping you find your balance. Life can throw some hard knocks, but you don’t have to go through it alone.
This is a space created specifically for you. To feel and speak freely, to be understood, and to begin retelling the story of YOU. In our sessions, we’ll work together to better understand your experiences, identify patterns, and move toward the healing, clarity, or changes you’re seeking. I tailor each session to you. It’s your job to open up and show up for yourself, and it’s my job to listen and guide. Together, we will work to disassemble your struggles and build you into the person you want to be.
It all depends on your needs, goals, and life circumstances. In the beginning, I typically suggest once every week or once every two weeks, and then we re-evaluate as needed. The goal is to create a consistent space for growth.
I kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows time to offer the slot to someone else who may be waiting. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance – or missed appointments – are subject to the full session fee. I understand that life happens, and emergencies do come up. If something unexpected occurs, please don’t hesitate to reach out. My goal is always to work with you with care and understanding.
Absolutely! I love working partners and families into sessions. I find that when everyone is on the same page, conflict resolution is more easily navigated. Some clients come in individually and later invite their partner or family member(s) into the process, while others come in as a couple or family from the start. Let’s talk about what works best for you!
At this time, all counseling sessions are conducted exclusively via telehealth using a secure, HIPPA-compliant video platform. This ensures that your privacy and confidentiality are fully protected while allowing you to attend sessions from the comfort and convenience of your own space. I am committed to providing the same level of care and connection through virtual sessions as I would in person.
I am currently in the process of developing two new support groups for the community: STAD (Skills Training and Development) is a group for kids and teens that will focus on building practical tools for emotional regulation, communication, an managing daily stressors. This group will be held in-person. The second group is a Parent Support Group. This will provide a space for parents to connect, share experiences, and receive guidance around parenting challenges, boundaries, emotional support, and self care. This group will be held online, through a HIPPA-compliant video platform. If you are interested in either of these groups, please let me know!
